Representatives from faith, civic, city, state and private sectors attended Isles’ Faith for Health Breakfast last Thursday, to address ways to combat childhood obesity in Trenton. There is a general consensus that obesity can be prevented when individuals are educated about and motivated to regularly practice healthy nutrition and exercise. Isles, in cooperation with faith and community leaders, looked to build on its success with the Trenton Spirit Walk to foster a culture of wellness that support healthy behaviors for Trenton youth.
