  • Old Trenton Project: Isles will rehabilitate seven vacant historic homes and build ten new single family homes for sale to low- and moderate-income families.
  • Isles’ Training Center at 33 Tucker Street: A 120-year-old former paint warehouse is now home to the Isles YouthBuild Institute and the Center for Energy and Environmental Training (CEET). The 14,000 sq. ft. training center and office is energy-efficient and handicapped accessible throughout and allowed Isles to expand the YouthBuild and the CEET student body.
  • Stockton Street Apartments: A currently distressed project encompassing 26 rental units in 11 structures scattered along and near Stockton Street in the Old Trenton neighborhood will be acquired and renovated by Isles. At the end of the tax credit period, Isles will convert the rental homes to owner occupancy.
  • Stockton Arms Apartments: Isles acquired this troubled 34-unit rental property five years ago. Over the past three years, Isles has improved the building, which has in turn stabilized the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Mill One: The former Atlantic Products mill at One North Johnston Avenue in Hamilton Township will be renovated into a 110,000 sq. ft. mixed-use “village.” The mill will ultimately comprise Isles’ headquarters, YouthBuild Institute, art studios, housing, offices and other uses, while demonstrating the feasibility of converting historic factories to high-performing, sustainable places to live, work and play. Isles is targeting LEED Platinum certification for the adaptive rehabilitation.  For more information visit www.millone.org.
  • Suburban Affordable Housing Development: Isles seeks to plan, develop and manage sustainable affordable housing in high opportunity towns in the region. Isles is helping a number of suburban municipalities plan, develop and/or manage quality, mixed-income housing. Isles recently completed a feasibility study for the Housing Authority of the Borough of Princeton (HABOP) for a 3-acre property to be redeveloped as environmentally green, mixed income housing.
