Each IYI class learns all aspects of a home restoration — from demolition and framing to roofing and painting and
everything in between.
Currently, students are renovating six vacant, 1890s-era homes in the historic Old Trenton neighborhood. When complete, the buildings will be energy-efficient, healthy, and durable homes for first-time homeowners. The homes range
in size from three to five bedrooms.
