It's not your "run of the mill" fundraising dinner! Isles Fall Fest is an evening of eclectic local food, drink, arts, and entertainment at the new Social Profit Center at Mill One! Friends join us to celebrate and support Isles' sustainable development work, savor the flavor of the local community, and tour the historic mill.

La Cabaña Bakeshop and Restaurant served up Latin American fare in both sweet and savory:

Party tray's by Judy covered all of our coffee and tea needs for the evening with a mix of assorted teas accompanied by Isles' honey and waters infused by different fruits and herbs.

Who Were Our Artists at Work?

 

Malcolm Bray is a prolific local artist of English origin has taken studio space at Mill One, Hamilton NJ. Bray was inspired by the scale and industrial flavor of the former factory which is being renovated to suit the individual needs of tenants. You don't want to miss the opportunity to check out his inspired paintings and his amazing work space.

Liz Amaral was born in Ewing and displays comprehensive creativity with the diverse use of acrylics, ink, and works of paper marbling. She performed jazz music with Michael Bernabe and created an abstract piece consisting of acrylic paint and intricate ink designs.

Jonathan Conner (LANK) created a mixed media painting over the course of evening by combining spraypaint stencils and watercolor

 

Stampy Goblyn is a local artist who specializes in sketching, inking, and painting tattoo style art as well as dark art.

Eric Schultz was born in Trenton, NJ. Schultz works predominantly in the medium of metal, particularly found object sculpture. Eric has a deep artistic fascination with junk and the detritus of life. He finds inspiration from animals, people, ancient myths and good stories. He currently has studios at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton and his home in Philadelphia.

Leon Rainbowdid his live painting using a mixed media approach: water-based sprays, paint markers, and acrylics.

 

Who Performed?

 

The Trenton Circus Squad greeted guests outside Mill One with a range of skills from juggling to uni-cycling to stilt walking. Indoors, musicians performed a variety of musical styles including jazz, classical, and contemporary provided by the local musicians listed below:
