Este taller de dos días les enseñara los pasos para ser el dueño de su propia casa: 3/10 y 3/17
Take your first steps toward becoming a homeowner by attending our two-part homebuyers' workshop 4/28 and 5/5!
Buying a home can be an intimidating process, especially for the first-time home buyer. Our pre-purchase home buyer counseling and support demystifies this process through individual credit and housing sessions and home buyer workshops. Isles can also provide home buyers resources that can provide financial assistance with down payments and/or closing costs. Isles is a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) certified housing counseling agency.
Potential home buyers receive one-on-one credit and housing counseling, complimentary registration into the Home Buyer Workshop, referrals to partner banks and real estate firms, and referrals to down payment assistance programs (if available).
Through one-on-one counseling we will help you:
- determine whether purchasing a home is the right financial choice for you
- review your credit
- help you create a concrete budget to determine the monthly amount you can responsibly pay for a home
- assist with credit repair
- review your mortgage documents at closing
- offer other advice on your home purchase
Costs for first time home ownership counseling range from $39-$89 for individuals and $59-$109 for couples, depending upon your mortgage readiness.
Isles also offers Home Buyer Workshops for those planning to Buy a Home. The Home Buyer’s Workshop takes the mystery out of the home buying process. This two-part workshop is generally held on consecutive Saturday mornings.
Completion of this two-part workshop will qualify you for a home buyer’s certificate (which many lenders require in order to receive a better mortgage rate) and will prepare you to become a home owner. The fee for this course is only $35 and includes handouts and refreshments.
