Christina manages Isles’ Farm to School programming which includes supporting school gardens, teaching hands-on nutrition lessons through cooking and gardening classes, advocating for healthier school lunches, and supporting schoolwide wellness initiatives. Before entering her current role at Isles, she served two terms as a FoodCorps service member in which she worked to connect kids to healthier food in schools. She also has prior experience in curriculum development. Christina has a BA in Environmental Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey and spent a semester in Southern India studying sustainable development and social movements. In her spare time she enjoys exploring new places around the world, experimenting in the kitchen, and transforming clay into works of art.
