Sam Frisby

Sam is a tireless advocate for children, the under-represented and underserved. He engages communities and utilizes their collective momentum to drive successful social change. Whether in his elected capacity, his executive leadership roles or as a music and spiritual leader, service speaks to the core of who Sam is and how he approaches life.
Mike Van Wagner
Trenton Nonprofit Champion &
Former NJM Executive
As the long-serving VP of Public Affairs for NJM Insurance, Mike helped guide the Company’s substantial giving and engagement efforts in Trenton and beyond. Mike also invested an immense amount of his own time serving on multiple, Trenton-based nonprofit boards, coaching Trenton youth in various sports leagues, and raising critical dollars for a myriad of vital causes. He has epitomized the idea of a good corporate citizen and community servant.
Meet The Artist
Alia Bensliman
Alia Bensliman’s artwork reflects her view of life and sentiments about the current state of our society, socio political issues, taboos, religion, relationships, health, and human rights. She grew up in Tunisia, North Africa, which is a crossroads of eastern and western influences and can be seen in her work. She is excited to engage our community in a graphic dialogue about Isles and our influence on the people and communities of Trenton.
Guests of our Spring Celebration will have the opportunity to create in community with the guidance of Alia Bensilman, masterful artist and teacher.
